Major Awards - The BWMKS Junior Koi Show '24
The Birmingham & West Midlands Koi Society is Back!
They've had a year off, but one of the oldest koi clubs in the country is back with a new format for their show - The Junior Koi Show. For those unfamiliar, the largest koi entered can be up to size 5 (up to 65cm). The club had also opened the floor and made the show open, meaning any hobbyist could exhibit their koi, even if they weren't club members.
Personally, I'm thrilled to see this format return. I think it's a great addition to the UK show calendar, and the weekend proved there is a thirst for it. I can see plenty of potential here, and I'm sure the event will go from strength to strength with more support. Lot's to follow, but for now, enjoy the koi!
